Thou shalt not steal a car with a tracking device.

A 3-months-pregnant Tennessee woman was carjacked at gunpoint following a crash — but was able to track down the stolen vehicle with an Apple AirTag device she had stashed inside a Bible.

Zaliyah Hughes was heading to a local barbecue joint in Memphis when a speeding White Nissan smashed into the passenger side of her Hyundai Sonata at an intersection, she told WREG.

“Once they hit me, the man who had a black mask on already had his gun pointed out of the car,” she said.

She tried to pull into a nearby firehouse, but the assailants blocked her car and forced her out while pointing their guns at her in front of three firefighters.

“All I did was get out of the car. I didn’t want to risk my life, and I already knew I had tracking in my car,” the cosmetology student said.

The tracking device, an Apple AirTag, was hidden inside a Bible she kept in the vehicle.

“I keep my AirTag inside of my Bible because I think, ‘Hey if someone rummages through my car, they are not going to steal my Bible,’” Hughes told the outlet.

After speaking with police at the scene, she later received a phone notification in the middle of the night that her AirTage was at a nearby apartment complex.

She notified police of the vehicle’s location and was ecstatic when she woke up and saw the AirTag’s location at the city’s impound lot after it was towed.

The carjacker ripped out her rearview mirrors to disable her Bluelink car-finder system, which Hughes said wasn’t working anyway. They still have her only key, so she can’t drive the vehicle.

The damages from the crash and thieves will cost hundreds of dollars to replace, she said.

No arrests have been made, police told the outlet.
